(...) I cannot help but get the impression that Hugo Cancio wants Miami to be run in the same way Cuba is run by the Castro regime. In Cuba, Ley 88 carries a stiff 15 year prison sentence for anyone who "carries out any action aimed at hindering or hurting economic relations of the Cuban state." For the Castro regime, even the mere mention of the dire misery suffered by the Cuban people, or expressing criticism of the government's corruption is considered "hindering or hurting the economic relations of the Cuban State." Hugo Cancio has adopted the same definition of "interference," and like the Cuban regime, is seeking a way to silence all his critics through the use of force.
